Thirdly, to boot application from USB Drive on PS2, I have to change the boot mode to mass (using circle + triangle to enter Matrix Infinity menu), and I also need the application to be packed into a specific folder named system. The BOOT.ELF could be HDLoader or Open PS2 Loader (OPL) application, but I prefer OPL because it is newer and occasionally updated. I only need to put DEV2I.ELF and BOOT.ELF file to a USB drive, and run the DEV2I.ELF file by using wLaunchELF application in PS2. It is very easy to copy boot.elf to hard drive using Dev2Installer application. Secondly, to boot from HDD I need boot.elf file in the hard drive, which at this point right now I don’t have. After formatting and installing game is complete, I connect the hard drive to my PS2 using a network adapter. I also use WinHIIP to install PS2 games in ISO format to the hard drive.
